a recent post on judaica journal made me want to dig deeper, so i went in search of faythe levine, one of the artists highlighted by toby goldsmith. yes, i know – we’ve seen quite a few polymer clay matchbox amulets over the years, but i really liked her idea: levine uses recycled picture pages from children’s dictionaries to cover matchboxes. opens up a world of possibilities for polymer clay image transfers, and you know how much i love an excuse to talk about image transfers! have fun with it!
