portrait sculptor heidi maiers has several demos on her website including a nice step by step account for making a polymer clay bust into a finished bronze bust. the demo follows maiers from concept to finished piece. i found all of the demos very informative with lots of good tips and interesting pictures, especially her molding process for this polymer clay figure.
