hey libby – did you see this post from yesterday? i’ve been trying to make buttons like this with tinted liquid polymer clay – with only moderate success and there you are doing it so beautifully with your bisque beads! did i read it right? you are teaching this? why didn’t i know that six months ago? tell us where…

    Too funny! Thanks. Can you tell I really love the faux ceramic look? I just taught this as a 3 hour class for the So. CT Polymer Clay Guild. I’d be happy to take it on the road. lol

    It’s mostly a matter of playing with various combinations of the different liquid polymer clays and tinting mediums such as oil paints, alcohol inks and powders. Each combination produces a different effect. Make loads of textured strips of white, pearl or ecru clay to use as test tiles and then have fun!
