“Inspired by a fresh, salty morning I experienced at the shore while on vacation. The air was crisp and warm and the waves made the loveliest soundtrack for relaxation. This piece contains a variety of recycled materials; fabric, paper, felt, lace, plastic, dried paint, ribbon and cardboard, that have been hand-rolled into circles and swirls.”

    at first glance, i was certain that this was made with cane ends – and you are right barbara, it does look like alev’s work!

    ulla i never even thought of quilling until i saw your comment. yes, i suppose it is a form of fabric quilling. opens the door for many possibilities.
