Mmmm. Fimo Pate! Probably the only kind of Pate I like. I was right in guessing it was Mokume Gane, but very unique. Reminds me of Barbara McGuires new technique-My Mokume. Love the opaqueness. But, pardon my french, I couldn’t find the artist’s name. No worries, I’ve bookmarked the site. Lot’s to look at.

i couldn’t find the artist’s name either trina – but i thought the mokume gane was color-popping good! and the way she did it makes the sheet look dimensional…like rippled fabric.

I discovered your article this morning. Thank you very much!!!
I consult Polymer Clay Notes almost every days and I’m very happy to see my work on your notebook. The photo is a mokume gane made from the technique of the hidden magic. I will publish a tutorial in the next days.

    So much thanks again

  4. Do you think it’s maybe the Black that makes the colors pop and look dimensional?
