using the professional photo-animation software fantamorph, the eggman created this video representing 500 years of female portraits in western art. the video has been viewed more than 4 million times on you tube – must be something to it!

i’d say we aged pretty well…what do you think? click on the picture to decide.

the link was sent in by helen pankowsky – psychiatrist by day, polymer clay artist by night. the busy doctor doesn’t have a website yet, but she reports that she is working on a technique she calls ‘art sheets’. i’m intrigued…maybe if we ask collectively, she’ll share it with us?
