using brick or painted walls as her canvas, sculptor and installation artist jennifer prichard mounts hand crafted porcelain shapes directly to the wall. the result? organic, three dimensional compositions that look as if they sprouted right from the structure.
prichard’s skillful mounting of the repeating forms coupled with her eye for varying the size and color of each shape used in a cluster adds visual interest to the compositions. if you love the work but don’t want to mount directly to your wall, prichard has that covered too. she mounts the porcelain shapes to ceramic tiles. use one, four, ten…you get the idea. the texas based artist has found a niche – her work can be seen in commercial spaces around the country.
organic. barnacles. truffles. bubbles. paint chips. sugar cubes. just lovely…
