ronna sarvas weltman has been running around. in a new direction. it started a few months ago when she began to mix pod-like, earthy beads with her signature disc-bead necklaces . very nice…but she didn’t stop there. she took that idea and ran with it. the results are impressive.
sarvas weltman has been pulled deep in to the undertow of the natural world with new work that combines polymer clay and wire. her updated website has quite a bit of new work to ogle.
recently, the very-busy-artist became a contributing editor at step by step wire jewelry magazine. got wire jewelry? she’s your go-to person. congratulations ronna…on all of the above!

OH WOW!!!!
I love the wire and bead vessels!
Ronna your work always are a inspiration to me!
Thanks for the kind words. Hey, what an honor to have my work right above Gail Crosman Moore’s beautiful art. As a matter of fact, I clicked on the link to her website and not only was dazzled, but found out to my delight she’ll be teaching at a store five minutes from my house later this month. Of course, I signed up.
The piece shown here was made with iron wire and two-part epoxy glue, which I mixed with a little acrylic paint. Still doing a lot of experimentation …
Ronna is on a journey of artistic self discovery here. Her work is maturing into something remarkable. It’s so much fun to witness this explosion of vision, creation and expression.
You go Girl!
Ronna est l’une de mes artistes préférées et je suis très heureuse de cette mise à l’honneur!
Ronna is one of my prefered artists and I am very happy that she is honnered…congratulations!!!
