Northern NJ Polymer Clay Guild member Lisa Fried-Kornbluth’s idyllic carriage house studio in Englewood will be the setting for two exciting workshops next month.
Color maven Lindly Haunani and mixed media master Robert Dancik are both generous, giving teachers. I’ve been told by several people that each of these workshops have led to ‘aha’ moments in their artistic journeys. If you live in the NY Metro area these are two classes you won’t want to miss.
November 1-2, 2007: Lindly Haunani ‘Dancing with the Rainbow’
Define your color preferences, learn how to recipe/replicate colors and increase your color confidence. This workshop is ideal for anyone desiring to enhance the color impact in their work- whether you work with watercolors, colored pencils, collage, fibers or polymer clay.
You can find more about the workshop right here.
November 29-30, 2007: Robert Dancik ‘Cold Connections’
Students will explore materials, processes and procedures that will allow them to attach most any materials and found objects so that the way they are attached actually forwards the idea and design of the piece while ensuring structural integrity. A full range of cold connections including (but not limited to) riveting, tabbing, prongs, folds, and micro fasteners will be covered.

I’ve been fortunate to take classes from both of these wonderful instructors and I can’t say enough good things about them and their teaching methods.
