Polymer clay innovators and artists Dan Cormier and Tracy Holmes recently announced that they will host six retreats in 2008 on Canada’s West Coast. The setting for this series of weekend and week-long workshops is The Haven, a waterfront resort on pristine Gabriola Island.
With offerings like ‘Beyond the Blend’, ‘Polymer Clay Immersion’, ‘A Week at the Beach’, ‘The Ultimate Inro’ and Dan’s widely acclaimed ‘Building Better Beads’ there is something for everyone…from beginners to seasoned professionals.

What could be better than playing with clay, cool water softly lapping at your feet and an ocean breeze caressing your sun-kissed face? OK – so maybe you will have to drag yourself away from the work table first to feel the water on your feet, but the breeze and the sun and the sheer relaxation of it all? Count me in!

hello dan,i love your work. you and your wife make beautiful pieces. i am not lucky enough to be able to travel to your workshops. will you ever do books or dvd’s? i can afford those things just not the traveling. my mom is a survivor of lung cancer, i care for her,her home,etc. i hope you will think about all the other people that would love to learn your techniques, but can not travel. thank-you for all you do. lynn watts
