Glass artist Shelley Muzylowski Allen has created her own fanciful animal world forged in molten glass. Allen “employs color, form and scale, creating a new iconography in which animals are the supreme rulers of our collective consciousness.” I like the way she thinks. Despite their cool glass forms, the articulated equine sculptures are heart-warming and inviting.
