Courtney Denise Lipson combines expert skills as a metalsmith with her love of antique seed beads to create several collections of micro mosaic bead jewelry. After years of sculpting and painting, Lipson felt a pull towards metalworking, drawing on a long family history of jewelry making. Each miniature work of art requires patience and precision – the artist first makes the metal form and then, depending on the size of the beads, there are between 150-700 beads used per square inch!
