Another oldie but goodie. I just found these pictures of a slab construction vessel that I made a few years ago. The handle on the lid is a knot from a tree branch. Not sure what I was trying to do here – this is one of several slab construction vessels that I made when I first learned the technique.

    i agree Cindy, we cannot tell it was made several years ago.
    it’s pleasure every times to see your work, and your cat too! ;-) )
    may be have you decided what to do with the squares… which kind of vessel? Vessel that cross the time without shame like the tree branches! Everybody loves tree branches…don’t you think so?
    when you do your best with real story to tell in your work…, sincere talking doesn’t get old, it’s always pleasure to listen to… to look at… to share…
