This just in: Seth Savarick will be teaching an 8 week Summer Session at the Barnsdall Art Center in Los Angeles, California. For those who aren’t in the know, the Barnsdall Art Center is housed in Hollyhock House, Frank Lloyd Wright’s first project in Los Angeles. Wow…
Savarick will teach Jewelry Alternative Materials: Felt, Polymer & Resin. Registration begins tomorrow – if you live in the area, don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the stars of the polymer clay art world (and an all around nice guy too…).
From the class description:
This course is an overview of three of the major alternative materials being used in studio jewelry today. Students will get to sample working with these materials and techniques employed in the creation of jewelry. Students will create three hands on projects during the eight weeks of this class in each of the three materials, Felt, Polymer and Resin. Mondays 6:30-9:30 pm July 7 – August 25, 2008
