Tens of thousands of fused acrylic bits create the panels that make up Eric Zammitt’s geometric, densely colored paintings and sculptures. The hybrid abstracts, part mosaic, part sculpture, part painting and part mathematics, are mesmerizing and hypnotic.

I work from a place of curiosity about something that is mysterious and unknown to me.  I set up a process in which complex color and pattern can arise, or “happen”.
