Drool……. I have a large collection as well, but you have some particularly nice pieces.
This is just a small sample. I love the look, the feel, the history of these letters. They make me smile.
Do you just admire these pieces of type or do you actually print with them, too? As a letterpress artist, I hope you use them! I drool when I see the patina of old wood type, also.
I just admire them. Someday I hope to learn letterpress printing, but for now I just love the old wood type.
