art therapy or retail therapy?

I admit it.  Today I visited a few salvage, antique and junk shops instead of attacking the cumbersome task I alluded to in this morning’s post.  I have my own kind of ‘retail therapy’ that involves spending no more than $25.00 and has nothing to do with clothes, pocketbooks or shoes (see a few of my treasures in the picture below).  I scored lots of fun things for my mixed media stash and it went a long way towards a much needed shift in energy and attitude.

    That looks like a great haul. Glad you got to do something enjoyable for yourself – I enjoy your blog tremendously and appreciate all the work you do!

    Love it! And love the idea! When you need a boost, give yourself a budget! Now why didn’t I think of that!
    BTW – I have a folding ruler like that in my recycle stash too! What to do, what to do?
