Hi Paul and everyone! What good encouragement! Thanks so much everyone for the writing, especially Susan Lomuto . What a good thing to wake up to this morning. I really love making work-and working with bamboo and glass. I just finished making a website if you want to see more: www.charissabrock.com

And thanks for making me aware of this website Rex

Congratulations Charissa Brock, on your beautiful works of art. It touched me like few pieces do. Give it up for Daily Art Muse for the sweet visual gift delivered to my computer screen.

The use of materials are astounding. The work remind me a bit of Kathleen Dustin, especially the swaying stalks. Art does bring out the best in many artists.

This is highly evolved work. As a glass artist and a gardener, I feel a connection to the organic nature presented in these pieces. Very often it is taken forgranted the subtleties of nature presented in peoples interpretation of art. This work exemplifies the very reason for making works of art. An examination of beauty, grace, power and statement of the obvious. Homerun. Keep working. This stuff is visualy stunning.
