While I was surfing around the internet looking for information about yesterday’s feature artist I found one more jeweler from Poland to end our week. Again, I couldn’t unearth much information in English about Grzegorz Blazko or his work, but one thing is clear: When you are looking at a Blazko, you know you are looking at a Blazko.

I don’t know much about Polish jewelry designer Pawel Kaczynski, but I can tell you that his use of steel, silver, bronze mesh and paint has resulted in numerous awards for the artist. Textile meets jewelry in an explosion of color and texture in this body of work.

Last week one of my yoga teachers shared a favorite quote, attributed to the founder of Kripalu yoga. I got goose bumps the moment I heard it. It’s a dark, rainy day here in New York – a good time to reflect on the power of these words. I’ll be back this afternoon with my regular post.
