giving thanks: big and little

I am taking next week off (yes, we are moving!) so my Thanksgiving post is a bit early this year.  Tom has been working around the clock for almost four months to make this happen and we look forward to now making our house a home. We still have much to do before the work is complete, but moving in is a huge milestone and I am deeply grateful to all who helped us make our dream a reality.

Dear Susan, congratulations on your new home, new room. Don’t work too hard and take care of yourself.
Will be here waiting for your return.

Have a nice Thanksgiving Susan !
I know what “moving” means… I moved a lot of times…The biggest one was between France and US (Ca-San José)in both ways.
It’s good to have your own warm home, with your room to work (to create !) !
I wait for some pics from your new home…
    Amitiés
    Pascale

Hi Susan! I am actually envious of your move, but in a good way! I’ve lived in my little house for so long that I think it would be a great and fun adventure to have a new space with new possibilities and . . . a new studio!!!! Congratulations to you and your husband. An exciting new adventure with exciting new possibilities. I hope the pleasure and joy exceeds all the hard work it takes to make it happen.

A wonderful, blessed and happy Thanksgiving to you. Enjoy the time off!

Susan, this is an exciting time for you. I also love words and symbolism, and often find myself intrigued by images that show up in given situations. May be happenstance. May be messages. Who knows for sure? Anyway, thanks for sharing your list of things for which you’re thankful.

I enjoyed the gentle thoughts and smiles, and I’ve long loved the image of the woodpecker and its symbolic relationship to following the beat of one’s own drum, digging through the layers of self-discovery and keeping things in balance.

For what it’s worth – and with best wishes!

Have just recently discovered this blog and love it! Good luck to you in your new home and your new studio…I too, have just recently acquired my very own little studio (thanks to the hard work and talent of a very loving husband) so know how lucky and excited you are feeling! Can’t wait to see photos of it!
