One of my intentions for 2010 is to nurture my creative self. I’m off to a good start: In January I set up a brand new studio (I’m still organizing and getting used to the wonderful large space), and I took an online class. Next month I head to Baltimore for the Synergy II conference and March will find me in Mexico attending Ronna Sarvas Weltman’s week-long workshop/retreat at Hacienda Mosaico.

ohhhh color me very jealous. I would so love to go there for her class
How exciting, Susan!!! You are definitely well on your way to experiencing an amazing and defining year.
Let me just say a word about Hacienda Mosaico: MUST!! It’s an experience that you MUST make room for in your life! Comfortable, envigorating, inspiring, relaxing — a treat that you definitely deserve! And Ronna — well, that takes more words…and superlatives that I may not be able to muster at this time of the nite. Bottom line: Just do it!
It looks and sounds fantastic! Hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy every minute! Wish I was going too!
Oh, how wonderful this sounds! Someday I will go there. It’s coincidental that I have a friend who’s leaving today for Hacienda Mosaico and a workshop with Richard Salley.
Thanks for the reminder about beginner’s mind. I sometimes get so lost in knowing.

Oh Susan, what a wonderful sounding class! I am insanely envious, and VERY happy for you! Ronna is one of my most *favoritest* artists. To take a class with her sounds like heaven, but place it in such a heavenly place like Hacienda Mosaico…. zounds, girl! That’s Nirvana!
Glad you’re coming to Synergy, too. I hope we manage to cross paths there.
I took a class with Ronna at The Bead Shop in R.I. and loved it! I attended a wedding soon after and wore a piece of jewelry I made from Ronna’s book and got so many complements from people I didn’t know. If you have a chance to attend a workshop, take it or buy her book. Beautifully laid out and so easy to follow. My favorite artist so far!
