[/nonmember] [private_archives]The Jacksonville resident loves to hunt for gourds with just the right personality for her sculptures, which she then further brings out by hand carving feathers, adding glass eyes, beaks that she carves from wood or fashions from natural objects and attaching copper legs and toes. Wonderful work!
Her work is amazing…I never thought I would see anyone I know in this blog…I met her once on Maui and is not only a great artist but is a great person.

I love the work! It is both light hearted and rythmical while still being very strong in design. Wonderful!
What wonderful work! Details are great and a sense of humor comes out. I love it!
Thank you for sharing this inspiring gourd artist. Her work is both highly realistic with a big dose of fantasy and very detailed, museum-quality work. Wow!
Amazing gourd work!
Such wonderful work – so proud to know Mindy! Love her and her brilliant sculptures.
Thanks so much for featuring my artwork on your lovely website. I was not familiar with your site, and a friend, Lyn, who is a regular subscriber, let me know I was featured. What a treat! I will subscribe immediately and can’t wait to see what you feature next. I very much appreciate the recognition. Thanks again!

Thanks, Susan, for bringing us such high quality and interesting work.
I’ve been following Mindy’s gourd art for years and it keeps getting more and more amazing and intricate in design. Her birds exhibit fun, unique personalities and are truly beautiful.
