damuse as an old broad

I’ll be back this evening with a regular post, but I couldn’t resist showing you what I look like this morning, as I get ready to jump outside of my comfort zone one more time here in Washington DC.  Yes, that’s really bad makeup, a scowling face and lipstick smeared outside of the lines.  Yes, those are deep black rings under my eyes and bed-head hair.  Why?

I’m doing what interns do – the scut work – in this case it means being filmed for one of Tim Tate’s videos.  daMuse as a washed up mermaid.  Yikes!  More about the sculpture and what it’s like to push myself outside of my comfort zone another day – right now I’m off to find my 15 seconds of fame.

Looks like you spent the night at the club slugging down wine and thinking about politics.

Everyone knows you’re a dame, not a broad!
