Looking at Katharine Morling’s ceramic sculptures you get the feeling you’ve just stepped inside an illustrator’s sketchbook. Morling’s life-sized snippets of domestic interiors are whimsical and rouse curiosity – I thought they were painted cardboard!

Bunny Stitched

the South London based artist begins each piece by making small clay maquettes – it is in this stage that she works out her vision – then she creates the larger blank clay objects and sketches the details with a black stain. From the tools on her studio table to the table itself, take a peek at the ceramic interiors that live in Morling’s imagination.
