I hope you can indulge me as I step out of character and share a personal note of congratulations in a public way. On Thursday June 2nd I am going to watch, laugh, cry tears of gratitude and let my heart swell with joy as my daughter and her closest friend receive their Masters in Mental Health Counseling – both graduating with honors.
Jessica and Talya take a break from their studies last week
This accomplishment came at a high personal cost to Jessica and she learned much about friendship when Talya came through with unconditional support at a critical time. I am deeply proud of Jessica’s perseverance and profoundly thankful for Talya’s gift of friendship.
The last time they took a break was for Talya’s wedding to Aron last May!
