celie fago interview on craftcast

celie fago interview on craftcast

alison lee has done it again! she just posted her podcast with precious metal clay/polymer clay artist celie fago. i haven’t had time to listen yet, but alison tells me that they talked about…well, just about everything!

perfect for your weekend listening…preferably while you are in the studio making art. i love all of celie’s work, but her early polymer and metal tools, like the ones pictured below, remain my favorite.

thanks alison – i can’t wait to listen, learn, create!

spacepaintings.com is the largest forum on the internet for spray paint art. brandon mcconnell, the artist behind spacepaintings, has several video clips posted on the website. watch all of them. you will find several techniques that are adaptable to other art forms including masking, using your fingers as a paint brush, and using paper to pull up several layers of wet paint, revealing all kinds of lovely surprises.

no brushes needed.

feeling it

feeling it

wow. for sure i am feeling the love today. your response to last night’s post has lifted me up and confirmed what i already thought (note to self – keep following your heart – it hasn’t failed you yet). thank you for coming out from behind your computer screens to let me know what you want to see on the blog. you are all the best!

i will continue with multiple posts per day – with pictures – some with short, quick text to go along with the pictures, others with longer text woven in throughout the week as time allows, and probably some posts that are just lists of interesting links.

your comments also show that indeed you are watching and reading and enjoying polymer clay notes from every corner of the world. wow again.

keep the comments coming (50 and counting), they are as inspirational and educational for me as polymer clay notes is for you!

grab your cup of coffee (tea for me, please), get comfy and stay tuned…there is much more to come on polymer clay notes.
