I hear from artists almost daily that their website is overdue for an update/redesign or they are ready to start a website to showcase their work or they need help with social media…but they don’t know what to do or just don’t have the time to think about it.

daMuse heard you. Web design can cost thousands of dollars – but it doesn’t have to – there are alternatives for all budgets. I am here to help you streamline and maximize your web presence -  work with me before you hire someone to design your website.

Why do you need streamline?

If you are serious about selling your art, a solid, streamlined web presence is an important part of a good marketing strategy. A website featuring your art must invite viewers in and convince them to stay awhile (like your art!). It is often a potential customer’s first exposure to your work and an opportunity for you to help viewers make the transition to customer and eventually collector.

Who is daMuse and what does she know?

I’m Susan Lomuto, also known as daMuseI have looked at over 200,000 artist’s websites searching for art to share with thousands of people who read the Daily Art Muse.

When it comes to showcasing contemporary fine craft on the internet I know what works and what doesn’t.

I have been conducting intense research for years – uncovering the best in contemporary fine craft.  Along the way I have also collected the best tips and resources to help artists strengthen their web presence.

I’ve lost count of how many times I found exciting art I wanted to feature on Daily Art Muse, but couldn’t because the artist’s website wasn’t good enough to support the work or the artist didn’t have a website. It doesn’t have to happen to you!

What does it mean to ‘streamline’ your web identity?

I will show you what works and what doesn’t work, must-have features and mistakes to avoid, before you spend thousands of dollars on a website design or makeover. Is budget a concern? I will point out affordable options to expensive web design. I can help you set up a Facebook fan page, provide you with traffic building tips that work for your blog, website, Facebook page and Twitter profile, comb through thousands of options for WordPress templates and hand pick a selection for you to choose from – even set up your WordPress blog if that is what you need to complete (or begin) your web presence.

A few of the benefits you receive from working with daMuse:

You will come away with a working checklist of ideas and resources – some to use immediately and some to bring to a web designer as you move forward with your new website or website makeover.

What does it cost?

After working with several clients I have decided to move to a monthly pricing plan that includes three sessions over the course of four weeks. People are finding this format more helpful and supportive.  There are three different options to choose from – decide which one works best for you!

Streamline by Phoneline: $249/mth

  • Three 45-minute phone sessions (3 weeks on, 1 week off) to evaluate your current situation, develop a plan of action/suggestions/resources
  • A resource list customized to meet your needs
  • Discretionary email support between sessions
  • Evaluations of what you did, next steps and whether you are on track (after every third session)

eStreamline:$150/mth

  • 3 email sessions that incorporate everything I do in the phone sessions, only we will do it via email!
  • I will send out emails to you every ten days or so (but you can send me unlimited emails through out the month).  This ensures that you have plenty of time to absorb, reflect, ask questions and put into action the steps outlined in each session.

Combo Package:$199/mth

This option gives you the best of both! Everything that I cover in the Streamline by Phoneline Option and the eStreamline Option is included here, but we cover it via one phone session and two email sessions just in case you need both kinds of support.

  • One 45-minute phone session the first week of the month
  • Two email sessions, each ten days apart

Ready?

1. Say “Yes!” to a streamlined web presence that maximizes exposure and sales opportunities for your work.

2. Pay for your consultation.

3. I will send an email asking for the URL of your website (if applicable) and a summary of questions/issues and we will begin from there!

4. If you have purchased a phone option, we’ll pick a time to speak that is convenient for both of us via phone or Skype – you choose.
