If you think that bold is beautiful, that wood is wearable, and that stones are sexy, then you will want to take a closer look at Christine J. Brandt’s over sized  jewelry.  Brandt carves exotic wood and combines it with semi precious stones to create sculptural, organic, rings, necklaces and cuffs.

Lava Ring, African Black Ebony and Vanadinite

Born in Japan and raised in Europe, Scandanavia and the United States, Brandt counts her multi-cultural upbringing as part of the inspiration for the jewelry that has quickly become her signature style. The artist uses stones and crystals in their raw, uncut state and she rubs Danish oil into the wood to bring out its true beauty.  No stains to color these pieces and you won’t find any faceted cuts on the hunks of stone she sets into the sleek wood bases.
